Kolofix suspension centre

Suspension service you won't find anywhere else in the Czech Republic

A specialised workshop for forks, shocks and dropper posts. We only need the components themselves. Usually done within 5 working days, even in peak season.

Why our own suspension centre

Our suspension centre repairs shocks, forks and dropper posts from the whole Kolofix service network and for partner services that rely on our precision, speed and responsibility for the work we do.

Thanks to our stock of oils, seals and rebuild kits we keep turnaround times short: most components less than five years old are usually repaired within 5 working days, older ones depending on the availability of spare parts.

Send your components by post

The service is usually done within 5 working days of delivery. Here's how:

  1. 1

    Pack

Send the fork clean, including the valve cap, the remote lockout with its lever and the rebound adjuster. Keep the thru-axles, brake hose holder, sensors, caliper adapters and mudguard at home. Send a shock with its bushings and washers (tape them on), a dropper post without the saddle and bolts.

  2. 2

    Describe

Put your name, address, e-mail and phone, the component model and a description of the fault in the parcel – or a note that it's a regular maintenance service.

  3. 3

    Send

    With any carrier to:

FAQ

Suspension service

Why should I service my suspension?

Service intervals are set by the manufacturer; the latest is generally once a year. The oil in the components degrades and collects dirt – after a year the originally clear oil is often black. Without servicing you risk irreversible damage.

Do I have to bring the whole bike?

No. The fork, shock or dropper post on its own is enough. You can bring it to any branch or send it by post straight to the suspension centre.

How long does it take?

Most components less than 5 years old are usually repaired within 5 working days, even in peak season. For older ones it depends on the availability of parts – we'll let you know right at drop-off.
